THIS! cocktail imbibing vessel! .... Crazy Al Evans' hometown of Scottsdale Arizona was a hub and Hubbub of Mid-Century Sunbelt Escapism. Hawaii? Mexico?? The Old-West??? any and all where Ports of Call to the tourist industry in the 'Valley of the Sun.' As with all the border states, Mexico was not just a neighbor. Indeed, the South West was Mexico in it's previous life. The all important Spanish afternoon nap, or 'siesta,' may not have been adopted by the United States, but it's iconic character was! The Garden Gnome of the South West is a sombrero clad figure finding respite form the afternoon heat in the shade of a saguaro cactus.
